Dresden remains birth capital

The National Statistics Office has announced that Dresden 2014 was once again the birth capital.
A total of 6,300 children were born in the state capital in 2014.
Thus, the Saxon capital is once again the leader among German cities with more than 400,000 inhabitants.
Incidentally, this corresponds to 1,175 births per 100,000 inhabitants. Second place went to Munich and third place to Saxon Leipzig.
Also in the so-called "Total Fertility Rate", short TFR, (summarized fertility rate) Dresden repeatedly took 1st place.
With 1.56 children per woman looking for the Saxon capital even a serious competitor.
