Important information about using the simple parental allowance software:

You can only receive parental benefit if you meet the following requirements:

• You live in Germany and

• You live with your child in a household and

• You look after and educate your child yourself and

• You are either out of work or no longer than 32 hours per week during parental allowance

• Your taxable income in the last completed assessment period before the birth did not exceed the statutory income limits (more information here: https://einfach-elterngeld.de/en/parental-allowance/annual-income-limit)

For foster children is no claim to parental allowance.

Attention: In special cases there are exceptions to individual requirements. A personal consultation can provide clarity.

Notes on using the simple parental allowance software

After you register for a fee, you will be taken to your user area. On the one hand, you can call up your invoice and receive an overview of all previously generated applications. In addition, you will be guided to the start of the software using our application wizard.

To use the software, it is recommended to keep some of your personal documents (which you know exactly through our application wizard) ready for a processing time of about 30 to 60 minutes.

• You can interrupt the software use at any time, your data entered so far will be saved in your user account

• You can always return to and continue using the software after logging into your user area again with your email address and password

• The simple parental allowance software creates your applications based on your entered data. For the accuracy of your information, the Elterngeld GmbH can not guarantee. After generating the application, you have the opportunity to examine your applications in detail.

• The applications are created as editable PDF files so you can make changes at any time.

  Attention: Due to technical problems or problems in the applications of the authorities, it may happen that fields in the applications are not filled in or are not filled out accordingly.

  We're always working to improve the software, but we can not stop it from sometimes causing problems. If you have any questions or queries, please contact our support: support@einfach-elterngeld.de. We usually reply on weekdays within 24 hours.

• The Software grants you once only the generation of the child benefit claim and the parental allowance application under the Terms & Conditions.

  Attention: After requests have been generated, no further requests can be generated.

• In addition to the applications, you will also receive cover letters containing the address of the competent authorities and the documents to be attached to the applications. Applications must be printed, signed and then mailed to the relevant authorities.

• After the authorities have processed your applications, you will receive the notification of approval by post.
