Favourability check included
Months with maternity protection are skipped in the calculation. That is usually better – but not always, for example after a pay rise or a change of tax class. The software compares the possible variants and recommends the one with the highest basic parental allowance.

Will you work part-time or self-employed while receiving parental allowance? The additional-income calculator shows how much allowance remains – separately for salary, profit and mini-job. A company car used privately is taken into account as income.

Before creating the application you see all your details on one page and can change each section. The software then fills in the matching official application form as a PDF – with a cover letter and a list of documents.

Notify your employer of parental leave
Based on your parental allowance plan, the software suggests your parental leave periods, shows the latest date to notify your employer and drafts the e-mail – for each employed parent. (The e-mail text itself is in German.)
